Our craftsmanship and reputation for integrity has distinguished us in the mind of the public. Boston’s Best Chimney is a family run business with many long term employees.


Andrew Davenport:  Andrew has been with us since 2013 and brings experience from his many years of sweeping in Pennsylvania.   With his extensive knowledge in pellet, gas and wood stoves, Andrew quickly became our go-to troubleshooter.  Andrew is certified through the NFI (National Fireplace Institute) in wood, certified C-DET (Dryer Exhaust Technician) and certified through the Chimney Safety Institute of America, CSIA Cert #6849.


Kevin DeMaio:  Following in his father’s footsteps, Kevin came to us fresh out of high school. Over the years, Kevin has worked his way up from laborer to technician, earning his CSIA certification in 2013. Kevin takes his time with every project which allows him to run a tight and tidy job site.   This past year, Kevin has had training in commercial projects, taking on some of our more complex jobs.  CSIA cert #8809.


Peter Dickie: Peter and Mary Ellen started Boston’s Best Chimney in 1989. BBC has grown from a one truck operation to the 8 truck outfit it is today. Although Peter has scaled back in the field, he is still very hands on overseeing daily activities, supervising field operations, and conducting site visits. Peter is not afraid to take on any project, large or small. Regarded as a modern day Macgyver, when others say they can’t, he can! Peter’s forward thinking has gained him the respect of plumbers, oil companies, homeowners, business owners and inspectors throughout his tenure. Peter is certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America, CERT # 2406, holds his Construction Supervisors license, Home improvement Contractor license, Member National Chimney Sweep Guild and Massachusetts Chimney Sweep Guild.


Matthew Enegess: Matt has been involved in the company since he was 18 years old. Matt has impeccable attention to detail ranging in a wide variety of skills. Matt has overseen projects large and small in residential and commercial areas. Matthew is certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America, CSIA Cert# 7275.


Richard Feyler: Rich joined our team in April of 1996. Rich is very calculated and reliable staying until the job is done. Rich is a veteran of the United States Army serving 6 years in airborne infantry. Rich is referred to in the office as the raccoon whisperer making his mark with animal removals. If you have unwelcome guests, he’s your man!


Chad Wilson: Chad came to us in July, 2010. Chad has become an integral part of our organization showcasing his knowledge and abilities. Chad’s proficiency does not stop in the chimney field, before coming to us he was in the carpentry industry making him a handy tool to have with elaborate jobs. Chad is certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America, CSIA Cert #7756.
