Peter and Mary Ellen Dickie started Boston’s Best Chimney, located in Waltham, MA, in 1989.
Having been involved in the chimney and venting industry for a number or years, Peter possessed the ability, resources, and determination to enable their new enterprise to quickly mature. After a modest beginning, with only one service vehicle, Boston’s Best Chimney has grown into one of the largest, most respected companies in New England.
Our craftsmanship and reputation for integrity has distinguished us in the mind of the public. Boston’s Best Chimney is a family run business with many long term employees. Peter continues to oversee projects in the field while still performing some of the work himself.
Each of our service vehicles is staffed by a knowledgeable chimney technician and accompanied by an apprentice. All of our technicians have years of experience and each is committed to excellence and personalized service.
Our office, managed by Mary Ellen, is the hub of the operation. Not only are we here to schedule appointments, but to answer any question which you may have.
