Some Work We've Done

Notice how gently our staging is supported on this homeowner's roof.
Yes, he is sitting down on the job. Our chimney professionals take pride in their work - even the part that you don't see. Notice the tool in the sweep's hand as he smoothes the mortar between the bricks.
When required, Boston's Best Chimney Sweep has the equipment to do lofty work.
Sometimes very lofty!

The three orange-colored rectangular objects are called clay flue liners. They're usually 2 feet long and stack on top of one another to carry flue gases to the outside.

When the flue tiles become cracked or broken, the flue gas may easily enter the home. And, if there are no flue liners in a chimney... that's not a good situation.

Sometimes steel liners need to replace broken or cracked clay liners.

A chimney with a nice decorative top adds to the attractiveness of a home. Note the flashing at the base of the chimney to prevent water from entering the attic area.
The chimney is built or rebuilt one brick at a time. Each brick is carefully positioned to support the one on top of it as well as to be aesthetically pleasing.
